This is a series of photographs and videos that I captured from my window during the COVID-19 pandemic when lockdowns were imposed the world over.
During this time, it was obviously not possible to step outside the house to take photographs, so I resorted to capturing daily life around my residential building through the window.
The first of the three videos I shot and edited as part of this project.
This photo-series was an attempt to capture daily life around my residential complex during the pandemic and documenting it.
It was a good lesson in the fact that you need not venture far away to be able to capture moments like these. Doing all of this from the confines of the one window in my house that overlooked the street, it helped me see things that I might otherwise have missed.
Apart from the photographs, I also shot and edited three short videos as part of this project, all with the same objective as the photographs: to capture and document life around my residence during the pandemic and lockdown.

The barber who works on the opposing footpath.

Someone passing through the cover of a tree outside.

Life goes on.
